Our Poret®  replacement filter sponges with a 17 mm hole diameter in and it’s suitable and fits as replacement filter sponge for Aquael Pat Mini Filter  and many other type.
The filter sponges are suitable as protection against the suction of small shrimp or fish, or as a pre-filter for coarse dirt particles, or for colonization with filter bacteria.

Available with fine filter foam with 45 PPI (shrimp baby safe) or middle filter foam with 30 PPI.
Due to the open-pore structure, the Poret®  replacement filter sponges offer a very large surface area for colonization of the filter bacteria.

The amount of surface area the filter creates makes a great feeding surface for shrimp and fish. Microorganisms on the sponges surface making it an ideal place for shrimp and fish  to find natural food.

This sponge comes with a drilled sponge holder pipe for smooth operation. The pipe inner connection is 19mm , out is 20mm

Recommend for 30cm height aquariums.
